Read the source. Understand what changed.
H1B Chains is an independent immigration source library and discussion platform. We cover US visa and immigration policy across pathways, not only H-1B. We are not a government agency or a law firm.
What belongs here
A specific visa or immigration policy proposal, rule, or procedural change with a supporting document or an attributable first-party statement. General immigration headlines, enforcement incidents, and political commentary do not qualify on their own.
From a headline to its evidence
Our collection jobs check supported government and news sources every four hours. Related coverage is grouped when event details and evidence match. Qualifying updates can publish automatically after the original is preserved; uncertain matches remain unpublished for review. We cannot guarantee exhaustive coverage or continuous access to every source.
Three voices, clearly labeled
Official excerpts are agency wording. H1B Chains explanations provide editorial context. Community contributions are readers’ interpretations and questions. None substitutes for advice about your own case from a qualified immigration attorney.
Announcements are not implementing rules
We label proposals, final rules, and reported announcements separately. A statement can show what an official announced while leaving the implementing directive unverified. A failed download does not establish that a document does not exist.
Preserve the record
Retrieved originals are retained as separate editions. Discussions quote a particular edition and stay attached to it when wording changes. The reader includes source links, an edition comparison, and a timeline so you can inspect the record yourself.
Corrections and contact
Submit a missing source through the reader, report a contribution, or contact support@h1bchains.com with the story link and the wording that needs attention. General inquiries: info@h1bchains.com.
Advertising
When enabled, advertisements are labeled and kept separate from original documents and passage discussions. An advertisement is not a source, a legal recommendation, or an endorsement by H1B Chains.
